Our history with Gem began way back in 1955 even before Motor cars or roads were established in Sri Lanka( Ceylon). Our Grandfather walked hundreds of kilometers from ChinaFort to Ratnapura and Ehaliyagoda where the gem mines produce exceptional quality stones. Some of these exceptional stones were made into Great Britain’s Royal families, Princess Diana’s engagement ring to sapphires and Rubies crowned Queen Elizabeth II.
Al Haji Naleem philanthropist and Gem Business icon and our granddaughter has been in business from the beginning. Their relationship extended beyond business to founding the university of Jamiah Naleemia.
